Grants awarded by SATY ry

Year 2024

In 2024, we received 11 applications for SATY grants. As in previous years, the grant decisions were based on the purpose of the grant,  the applicant’s labour market status and the technical aspects of the application, i.e. how well the applicant had followed the application guidelines, such as the cost breakdown and the guidelines for self-financing.

At its meeting on 28 October 2024, the Board decided to award grants to four applicants for a total amount of 1 850 euros. The grantees for 2024 are:

Oona Ilmolahti: 350 €

Lassi Lavanti: 500 €

Tapani Yli-Mattila: 500 €

Marja Vuorinen: 500 €

 

Autumn 2023

In the call for applications for autumn 2023, 9 applicants applied for SATY grants. As in the spring call, the grant decisions were based on the purpose of the grant, the applicant’s labour market status and compliance with the application guidelines.

At its meeting on 16 October 2023, the Board decided to award grants to five applicants for a total amount of EUR 1 500:

Okko Alitalo: 400 €

Ari Helo: 200 €

Maarit Laihonen: 300 €

Mohsin Abdur Rehman: 200 €

Eeva Siljamäki: 400 €

 

Spring 2023

The SATY Association received 15 applications for the Spring 2023 call for grants for a total amount of EUR 6 986. The grant decisions took into account in particular the purpose of the grant, the applicant’s labour market status and compliance with the application guidelines.

At its meeting on 13 April 2023, the Board decided to award grants to five applicants for a total amount of EUR 2 000:

Petra Autio: 500 €

Samuli Korkalainen: 500 €

Merja Porttikivi: 300 €

Antu Sorainen: 400 €

Francisco Beltrame Trento: 300 €

 

Autumn 2022

SATY ry received 9 applications for the autumn 2022 call for grants for a total amount of 4 075 euros. As in the spring 2022 call, the grant decisions were based on the purpose of the grant, the applicant’s labour market status and compliance with the application guidelines.

At its meeting on 12 October 2022, the Board decided to award the following grants:

Katriina Adrianov: € 425

Meri Herrala: € 300

 

Spring 2022

In the SATY spring 2022 grant call, 14 applications were received for a total amount of 6 330 euros. The grant decisions were based on the purpose of the grant, the applicant’s labour market status, and the technical aspects of the application, i.e. how well the applicant had followed the application guidelines, such as the cost breakdown and the guidelines for self-financing.

At its meeting on 1 April 2022, the Board decided to award the following grants:

Päivi Billie Gynther: 500 €

Oona Ilmolahti: €400

Liisa Kohonen: 280 €

Susanna Myllylä: 400 €

Merja Salo: 500 €

Vilhelmiina Vainikka: 350 €

 

Spring 2021

The first round of applications for SATY grants took place in spring 2021, with 10 applications for a total amount of EUR 3 943. Although the total amount of grants applied for exceeded the total amount of grants that could be distributed in spring 2021, the Board decided to give priority to the distribution of grants in view of the special circumstances caused by the pandemic. The award decisions took into account the social and economic considerations indicated in the applications.

At its meeting on 21 April 2021, the Board decided to award the following grants:
