A result in the university collective bargaining

Late Sunday night a result was reached in the university sector’s collective bargaining. For technical reasons the result was acknowledged on Tuesday.

The negotiations were conducted at a fastened pace after the coronavirus pandemic closed the university campuses. University staff continues to work as research and teaching are conducted remotely.

The result of the negotiations will now go to each organisation’s boards for handling.

Further details of the result will be published after all the negotiation parties’ boards have accepted the result.

The collective agreement for university sector ends on the 31st of March. If the union’s boards accept the negotiation result, a new collective agreement will be in effect from the 1st of April 2020.
