It will provide you with material and knowledge about rights, employment contracts, funding, etc. which will be essential you’re your academic journey as a doctoral researcher.

This session is designed to enhance your awareness and readiness to address challenges related to salaries, funding, and contracts within the university. We will be joined by Veera Keski-Säntti & Reetta Kuosmanen from FUURT (Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers) Union Office who will be discussing basic information of working life regulation and the collective agreement for universities, equipping you with practical knowledge to better navigate the university’s systems.

We encourage you to join us for this important event and take the opportunity to better understand roles, responsibilities and conflicts in academic work and how to deal with them. We will also have some coffee and snacks to facilitate discussion after the talks.
