Welcome to an open webinar on 1 October 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM to discuss the working life of doctoral researchers and current issues in the development of doctoral education. The webinar will be held in English and conducted via Zoom.
In the webinar, we will present the latest results from the Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers’ (FUURT) survey of early career researchers. Topics of discussion will include supervision of doctoral dissertations, the status of doctoral researchers in the academic community and workplace, career prospects for doctoral researchers, as well as the doctoral education pilot program and other current issues in the development of doctoral education in Finland.
