Come and meet your peers at the Research Professionals’ network of early career researchers on Tuesday, 31 March 2026 from 14:30 to 16:00!
The network is specifically meant for Union members who are working on their doctoral thesis or who have recently graduated with a doctorate. The purpose is to provide current information to support the work of early career researchers and to create opportunities for discussion with and peer support from other early career researchers.
In our first meeting of the year, we will discuss the upcoming activities of the network. The meeting is a great chance for the network participants to share their views and experiences, as well as ask questions related e.g. to doctoral education and PhD research work.
The network is coordinated by Research Professionals’ Senior Adviser, PhD Miia Ijäs-Idrobo.

You can join the network at any time via Research Professionals’ e-services. You will find the network of early career researchers under the e-service ‘Customer Groups’: click on the name of the network and ‘I want to participate’ and save the information. After that, your network membership will be displayed on the ‘My information’ page in the e-service. You can also leave the network the same way at any time. Information about the network meetings and other current topics will only be communicated to members who have registered for the network.
