Meeting of Research Professionals’ Network for early career researchers

On 29 October, in its third meeting of the year, Research Professionals’ Network for early career researchers will discuss the topic of research funding applications.

The meeting will be joined by Senior Adviser, Manager Päivikki Eskelinen-Rönkä from the Finnish Cultural Foundation (SRK).

Finnish Cultural Foundation is one of the biggest private foundations to award research funding in the form of grants/scholarships in all fields of science in Finland. They target their grants especially at early career researchers – for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.

Päivikki will give us a presentation on the grant options and policies of the Finnish Cultural Foundation. Their main call of the year, the October call, ends on 31 October. So if you are writing your grant application, this is the time to get final tips for finishing it!

Welcome to join our meeting, take your chance to ask questions directly from a specialist of research funding, and talk with peers on the practices and experiences of research funding applications!
