FUURT’s Autumn Union Meeting will elect a new President and Vice Presidents for the next two years on Saturday, 9 November. There are two presidential candidates and four vice presidential candidates.
The presidential candidates are Tero Karjalainen (Association of Researchers and Teachers in Eastern Finland) and Antti Pajala (University of Turku Researchers, Teachers and Lecturers). The vice presidential candidates are Tommi Kokkonen (Helsinki University Researchers and Teachers Association), Paula Silvén (Tampere University Association of Researchers and Teachers) and Pauli Väisänen (University of Oulu Academics). Antti Pajala will also be running as a vice presidential candidate, if he is not elected for the position of President.
We asked the candidates to write a short introduction and detail their work history and objectives for the 2025–2026 term. The candidate pages contain their introductions and short video greetings.
