Phone service for membership issues
The phone service for membership matters is available throughout the summer from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m.–12 noon at +358 (0)207 589 619.
The e-service of Research Professionals can also be used to conveniently edit membership details and manage membership fees. Any changes to your contact information, employment relationship, or grant period can be updated using the e-service. You can also check and pay your membership fees in the service. The e-service can be accessed and utilised by members 24/7.
Legal counselling
Members of Research Professionals can get legal counselling throughout the summer through the Union’s e-service. Please contact us if you suspect that you need legal counselling. Our lawyer can help with issues such as employment, fixed-term contracts, dismissals, layoffs, and inappropriate treatment.
Veera Keski-Säntti, Lawyer, can be reached by phone for legal advice on Tuesdays, 9 a.m.–12 noon, and Thursdays, 12 noon–4 p.m., at +358 (0)207 589 621. The phone service will be closed for the summer from July 14th to August 10th. During that time, members will be served by the lawyers of the law firm Aika through the e-service of Research Professionals.
In legal matters relating to private life, members can turn to the lawyers at Eversheds Asianajotoimisto Oy. Private legal matters include, for example, inheritance and wills, family law issues such as marriage contracts and divorce, and inheritance and gift taxation.
