We invite international members of Tampere universities (Tampere University & Tampere University of Applied Sciences) to share their experiences through a survey and help us gain an actionable understanding of their needs and position in the university community.
By ‘international members’ we mean persons with international backgrounds, broadly conceived, who are affiliated with the universities including researchers, teachers, and administrative staff (NOT including Master’s and Bachelor’s students). We hope that this survey reaches persons in different career stages and with different forms of affiliation to the universities; e.g. full-time / part-time / hourly employees, PhD students, project workers, grant researchers, temporarily unemployed researchers, emeritus professors etc.
The results will help us in outlining a set of recommendations to the universities for improving the international members’ work conditions and well-being, aiming to create equal career opportunities for all members of the university community.
It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete the survey. The survey is voluntary and does not require disclosure of directly identifiable information. The data will be securely stored on Tampere University’s servers and processed confidentially within the research team.
The survey is open until 30 October 2021.
You can access the survey here: https://survey.tuni.fi/lime/798913?lang=en
The survey is organised by Tampere University Association of Researchers and Teachers (TATTE) in cooperation with Tampere University chapter of the Finnish Union of University Professors. The content of the survey was developed in consultation with the HEI LIFE project and the relevant coordination units at Tampere universities. Tampere University & Tampere University of Applied Sciences have granted permission for conducting the study.
In case you have any questions or feedback, please contact us at email@example.com.
We kindly invite you to disseminate the survey among your colleagues.
Thank you for your time!
