Tampere University Association of Researchers and Teachers, i.e. TATTE, is the trade union of the academic employees of the University of Tampere.

TATTE represents the interests of the researchers and teachers and other academic experts regardless of their sources of income or funding. TATTE has more than 600 members: PhD researchers, postdoctoral researchers, university researchers, university lecturers, teachers, assistants, grant researchers, unemployed people and pensioners.

In TATTE, important themes representing the interests include fair and proper working opportunities for researchers and teachers who have a contract, management practices and operating practices of the university, the status of grant researchers at the university and the status of unemployed academic people at the labour market.
