Ceasefire now

During Tatte’s November board meeting, Tatte’s board decided to donate $250 to Pelastakaa Lapset’s emergency collection for Gaza. Of course, the only way such donations can be effective is for a ceasefire to be called, putting a stop to the unthinkable violence facing everyone in Gaza and allowing medical and aid workers to safely do their jobs.

Echoing in part the recent statement from TREY condemning violence against civilians (https://trey.fi/en/trey-condemns-violence-against-civilians-advice-for-students-on-how-to-deal-with-the-war-in-gaza) and responding to calls from Palestinian labor unions and academics, Tatte joins those urgently calling for a ceasefire and for an end to apartheid and occupation in Palestine.
