TATTE’s May Day event

TATTE organizes a May Day event on 28th April at 12-14 in front of Pinni B, city center campus, or if it is raining, in Toivo in the Main building.

The event will feature the Fenix Collegium award ceremony, and a speech from Doctoral Researcher Vesna Holubek on the topic of being an international member of the university community (in English). Petro and Hannes will be on hand to play live protest songs. TATTE’s president Liisa Ahlava hosts the event. We’ll be operating flexibly in Finnish and English, and active members of TATTE will also be around to chat about union-related matters or whatever else is on your mind.

Tatte offers traditional Finnish May Day treats sima (“mead”) and vegan munkki (“doughnuts”) for everyone.

Welcome!
