Join TATTE for an evening on the shores of Lake Hervanta on August 27, starting from 18.30
TATTE members are warmly invited to spend a relaxed evening at Majaranta to celebrate the beginning of another academic year. Majaranta is a cabin and event space by Lake Hervanta. It is a short ten-minute walk from the Hervantajärvi tram stop. There is no formal program for evening, so members are invited to join whenever they like, starting from 18:30. Sauna, swimming, snacking, forest walking, and relaxed conversations about defending the conditions of academic work are all possible (but none of them are required!).
TATTE will provide a small supply of sausages (including vegan ones) for those who want to grill, as well as snacks, sauna beers, and soda. Please bring sauna/swimming gear and whatever you might like for a fun outdoor evening (blankets or camping chairs, bug spray, additional refreshments, etc.). There is also indoor space to hangout in the cabin. Avec and family members are encouraged to join! Also, feel free to invite colleagues who might be interested in becoming TATTE members.
