HUART’s Call for Grant Applications 2023

HUART grants awards to its members for scientific pursuits. The Autumn 2023 call for grant applications is open until November 12th.

The Helsinki University Association for Researchers and Teachers will award its members with grants for scientific pursuits in the Fall of 2023. Suitable purposes for grants include conference and data collection trips and material expenses. Applicants may apply for a grant amount of their choosing, but HUART can only award grants under 1000 euros.

HUART’s board will make their decision on awarded grants once the call ends, and each applicant will be contacted personally.

The grant can be applied for via an electronic form:

Application Form

The call for applications is open from 9th October to 12th November.

HUART awards grants to its members primarily for conference and data collection trips. Grant applications can also be submitted for other purposes that further research, such as costs related to course fees, materials, translation or printing.

When the association board has decided who will be awarded a grant, the grant sum will be paid to each successful applicant’s account.

The grants are tax free but the grant applicant must check that the grant has been correctly listed in their personal tax declaration.

Successful grant applicants can apply for a grant at most every other year.

The association board will not comment on individual grant decisions.
