The Academic Self Defence Event exists to support international members of staff at the University of Helsinki.
HUART’s Academic Self Defence event (22nd May 16.00-18.00) aims to improve the readiness of researchers and teachers to navigate working issues at the University.
It is a forum for information and discussion on topics relating to salaries and contracts, issues with funding and work, and other timely issues on early career researchers.
It’s also a great opportunity to network with early career researchers and international colleagues at the University.
The event will be held online (Zoom).
