The grants are intended to cover travelling expenses for active participation (oral presentation or poster required) in academic conferences both in Finland and abroad during the year 2020. A new round for travel grants is organized because Covid19 pandemic has affected many conferences and organizing of them.
The amount of the grant is max. 250 € for trips in Finland, to the Nordic and the Baltic countries, or for online conferences, and max. 350 € to other countries. The grant may be awarded to one person max. three times in row. The grants will be paid against receipts (copies are accepted) during the year 2020. NOTE: The travelers must follow national instructions and restrictions regarding travelling abroad and in Finland.
Special emphasis is placed on active participation in the conference. The application should include: an abstract of the paper or equivalent, estimate of the travelling costs, and information of other applications on hand.
