SATY awards grants for professional development to its members. Grants are awarded, for example, for further professional training, conference travel, publication costs, or the promotion of well-being at work. From 2024 on, there will be only one application period for SATY grants in September.
The deadline for applying for grants in 2024 will be September 15. Decisions on the applications will be made at the board’s October meeting. Information about the grant decision will be sent to grant recipients personally, and the awarded grants will be published on SATY’s website. The grants will bepaid in October-November.
In 2024, SATY’s board can award grants up to 2 000 euros. The SATY board will deliberate on the number and amount of the grants issued. Social and financial circumstances are taken into consideration. Especially applicants, who are currently not employed or are working on a grant, are supported.
During spring 2024, the SATY board will specify the purpose of the grants and the awarding criteria, as well as the maximum amount of the individual grant (previously 500 euros).
