Defenders of Academic Work discussion event

Academics produce the knowledge that our society needs. The Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers (FUURT) works to support all academics as a unique science policy advocate.
Please join us to discuss how FUURT addresses the everyday life of academics and those that support academic work in advocacy work both locally and on the national level. We will also tell what kind of successes have recently been achieved through our advocacy activities. We invite you to share what you hope from our advocacy work in future, directly with the FUURT President.
The event will be held in either Finnish or English depending on the registered participants’ preferences.

SATY will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year and we want to do that in a way that pleases our members. Please join us to brainstorm how we could celebrate the anniversary together. We would like to have events in different locations where SATY’s members live or work. Do you have in mind an event, which would fit the anniversary or in whose arrangements you would like to participate?
