Since 2021, SATY has awarded grants for professional development to its members. Members can apply grants, for example, for further professional training, the promotion of well-being at work and work ergonomics, publication costs, or conference travel. SATY does not award grants for research work. The grant application 2025 is currently open, and ends on September 15.
The maximum amount of an individual grant is 300 euros. In 2025, SATY’s grant budget is 1 000 euros. Decisions on the grants are made in the October Board meeting.
The board of SATY deliberates on the amount and size of the grants issued. Social and financial circumstances are taken into consideration when choosing the grantees. Especially applicants who are currently unemployed or working on a grant will be supported.
Recipients will be informed personally of the award decision, and the awarded grants will be published on the SATY website. The grants will be paid in October–November.
