Defenders of Academic Work discussion event
Academics produce the knowledge that our society needs. The Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers (FUURT) works to support all academics as a unique science policy advocate.
Please join us to discuss how FUURT addresses the everyday life of academics and those that support academic work in advocacy work both locally and on the national level. We will also tell what kind of successes have recently been achieved through our advocacy activities. We invite you to share what you hope from our advocacy work in future.
The event will be held in Finnish and English depending on the registered participants’ preferences.
Arctic Light hotel’s hearty breakfast will be offered to all participants, and we will get to enjoy it on the hotel’s heated glass terrace. We ask registration in advance. Please also invite your colleague who is interested in FUURT!
